I'm not always a Strider fan, but when he goes all out on the MSCs, they can be spectacular. This one hits *all* the high notes. His blued Damascus is gorgeous, & that patinated slab of copper scale + integral backspacer is beautiful. Copper's a common element, & not terribly 'tactical', but it has a lot of qualities that recommend it for custom knifemaking: especially, of course, for use in San Mai (Cu-Mai) Damascus & old school Mokume. Thanks for showing it off! P.S.: I'm guessing it came with a forced patina, to match the antique look of the 'infused' titanium? Or did the patina develop inside the safe?
