Sitting in a hotel room in Thailand 28/03/2024. I have a hangover and it is my birthday. I just took a few moments to truly listen to that. Utter class. Even the singing works but, Jesus, can that man play.

Mick Taylor is a master of note choices, note inflections, vibrato, tone, expression, soul. I guess that adds up to a pretty darn good guitarist.

Fans ignore how Jagger appreciated Taylor. They composed many great songs together : Time Wait for No one, Moonlighmile, Sway, Winter, Till the next goodby. When suddenly Taylor said that he left, Jagger was really sorry. But as Jagger said "it was difficult for Taylor to get along with Keith". Taylor never taught he gonna stay always with the Stones.

Taylor said he could never see himself in the Stones, forever. He gave a variety of reasons for leaving. None, rang true. Living on the road, playing live to vast audiences takes it toll. Especially when drugs are always available. Either single, married,. It’s obvious Jagger & Richards loved his contribution.
@cultfilmfreakreviews6 ай бұрын
the main reason was songwriting credits. he'd have stayed had they paid for his contributions.

This is why I don’t like Rolling Stones. Mick Taylor was always, and still is much better guitarist than Keith Richard . Look at the Chuck Berry Session to laugh, Richards must felt relieved when Taylor left the stones , as he saw a rival in Taylor. Keep on Mick Taylor .

What makes him a true man is that he refused Jaggers invititation to join the band on a regular basis. He felt the responsibility to care for his family and his health which the Stones slowly destroyed. He was becoming a seroius heroin addict and without quiting the band he problably wouldn't be alive today. It was the best decision he ever made! What do you want to do with much more money that you can spend and being as popular so that you can't even buy some milk! Well done Mick!!!

Nella sua semplicità c"e la bellezza del blues ed un eccezionale gusto musicale. Peccato non sia mai riuscito a diventare un autore completo. Si vede la scuola del professore (J. Mayall)
@Staylogical12 жыл бұрын
Everything the Stones did is Keith's sound.Nobody,except Jagger and Charlie,was more important to that sound than Mick Taylor.He was a 19 year old kid when they auditioned him,from John Mayall's band. Brian Jones created the band,and Ron Wood keeps the faith.But neither has had the creative or musical impact of Taylor.The fact is their best music was created in the Taylor years--Let it Bleed,Sticky Fingers[with a young Ry Cooder],Exile,Goats Head Soup,It's Only Rock and Roll.
