this is so great to hear about. it reminded me of when my grandfather told me he met mickey mantle at some kind of restaurant. i think the guy was retired at the time; it was before he got some condition that ended up killing him cuz of some past stuff he did, drinking or smoking? idk. i believe my grandfather only briefly spoke to him, but it was cool to hear about. i wish i knew more or could ask my grandfather more, but hes in the hospital cuz of medical reasons id prefer not to get specific about, but it causes him to be very, very delirious so even if i could call him he would be so out of it and he wouldnt be in the position and neither would i, its just too hard. if this gets any requests to get more information from my father (who is my grandfathers son) ill edit this if i can. good to know the full story imo for me personally.

On the face of the 2009 complete set of Topps card is featured a Mikey Mantle gold chrome card encased in plastic with that autographed thats probably computer generated. Im told that this one isn't eorth anything either. Haven't opened the box yet just waiting to find out if its worth more than $10.00.
