The contracts for the movies is the great movie ride were nearly expired and this was part of an entire park transformation so that guests can be immersed in the movies rather than watching how they're made

Seems like a good ride, but not deserving of the Chinese Theater. the projection mapping looks so off because this version of Mickey was never meant to be 3D, and this tacky "flash animation" version of the characters just aren't timeless. They feel like someone spoofing the characters rather than an actual version of Mickey. I hate that this is the version they chose to immortalize in a ride. The ride looks good, but I think I hold it's building and location to a higher standard.
