I kind of remember this from being a tiny tot. I loved watching the Mickey Mouse Club. This was Annette Funicello very early classic Mousketeers.

They ran re-runs of the original Mickey Mouse Club well into the 1960s, and I remember this one particularly well. (Annette was already doing her Beach Blanket Bingo thing by the time I got to see it.) My favorite's the "dragon in the bathtub cleaning-up!"

Wonderful post! So glad these fond memories are available online. This was my favorite day-song and I'm sure I saw Season 2's premier run. Oh, what great entertainment! Clever lyrics. No ugly behavior even though Annette WAS dressed somewhat provocatively, for the 1950's. Here's to watching it again!

Perhaps I am doomed to fail in my quest, but do you happen to have -- or know where I can view -- the "Talent Roundup" opening where they are all riding around with those fake little horse costumes/props over their cowboy and cowgirl outfits? I believe Friday may have been Talent Roundup Day. I have found a couple of the featured winners of the Talent Roundup doing their acts, but the actual start to the show (as I have described above) seems nowhere on the internet, and this is surprising!

@ Lady Tarasque. My first time to this website. This Boomer is not surprised you haven't drummed up support for your concern. Tents made from blankets over clotheslines, large cardboard box caves, etc still appeal greatly to little kids, and a "cage" easily copied with cardboard and a helpful adult with a boxcutter was fun almost any kid could access. Mousekateer fun could spark our imaginations many ways with each and every show.
