Thanks Mickey. I worked with R.L. Burnside for years, and other country Blues players in between band work. But, I never put it together using different kinds of harps for different songs. Knowing this believing you're right gives me a great excuse to buy a few different kinds of harps! With R.L., and the others I pretty much stuck to the Marine Band. Just love the wooden combs. But, am very impressed these days with the Akira Origin harp from France. Have not tried their more expensive Signature. But, the Origin plays like your floating on air. Still miss those wooden combs though! You're a super harp player. Not many players could play behind Willie Nelson the way you have all these years. You really know how to lay back enabling the few notes you put in at times to "say" so much more than a dozen notes another player might put in. Good luck.
