So when I went for my very first time a little over 2 weeks ago the horseman was not there and the parade got stuck for a good 30 minutes, it did not move and it was really awkward, haha. SO here I am trying to get the full experience :

I love Disney and how hard they work every year, but am I the only one who wishes they would maybe change it up...a little? Ya know? I'm just glad they include Haunted Mansion in the parade. I wonder why they don't include Nightmare Before Christmas.

bloodytearz22 floats and changes cost money and the see that what they have works so they do minor changes in small increments so they don’t spend much and nothing will be the same from year to year

There is two parades one at 9:15 and the other at 11:15. Also, don't worry about the little ones getting scared. I go every two years at Halloween, and the jumpscares (mainly from the haunted mansion section, sometimes the villians, but that's rare) are never directed towards the small kids, and some of the nice characters (like Alice and Pinnochio) will blow kisses at them or act scared of them. It's really funny.

I have heard its because when they use to do the events only in October that they would sell out way to fast, so they moved into September but then that filled up. So they extended it again to give everyone a chance

Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I will tell you, yes, it seems to be VERY popular at the parks. I tried for several years and wasn't able to go (because it was sold out). I finally did go last year, grabbing early September. I am not sure if its fully a cash grab (come on its Disney, so we know they love money) but if you look, going in September is a lower price then October, with the price going from 74 to upwards of 99 if I remember right. I think the only holiday they have higher attendance and more sell outs is the Christmas one. I have heard the parks hit max attendance on those days.

Zetamoon when I went 3 days before Halloween this year I think it was like $64 or $75 then I went on Halloween itself and it was a little more
