I think that was a woman who’s in charge of the choreography for the gravediggers. Last year there was a special on tv showing how they put all of this together. There was clip of her in crowd saying that.

LOL! All the college program photopass... Thank heavens I never had to work these parties. I worked a lot of 10 - 12 hr days as it was. Glad I never had to do this too. Though, I do have a feeling I missed out on a lot of fun.

I remember going there with my sister and mom for the parade and it was raining so my mom gave us her poncho to wear and wore a paper bag on her head. One of the sugar rush racers came directly to us and said “Nice hat!”

I love Disney and perhaps my expectations of their abilities are too high, but I really think Disney can do better than this. Many of the performers seemed sluggish. We were missing several of the key Disney villains. Give us more color. More excitement. More classic Halloween whimsy. Something to punch it up a bit! I really hope these performers have found the spirit by the time I visit in September.

Just saw this, reminded the wife when first went, we went thinking it was like the UK , so we went to wall mart got my lad a screen outfit with a bleeding heart, squeeze the heart and the blood goes down the mask, my daughter was a witch with blood in her face, hair which she had the heart to but just open. Lol we were on the boat from car parking and noticed kids scared of them, when one started to cry I looked at the wife, at same time she looked at me, oh dear it’s princesses lol seeing them posing with the prince and princesses at character area was to funny, glad to be going next year again. .

This party is really worth the extra ticket.. There is candy handed out everywhere to young and old. Since it is a separate ticket, the crowds are really held down. The Haunted Mansion gets a special lighting effect outside and the cast members inside have a much more ghoulish look than normal. The best part is that the entire park is in full operation so you get to experience whatever you want with very little waiting.

Christopher Baker separate ticket events are exactly what they sound like! The Halloween Party and Christmas Party require a special ticket to get into. The Halloween party usually runs from mid August up until Halloween itself. Then I think that Christmas starts Mid November until Christmas itself.

I understand it's called "not so scary" but honestly I think Disney needs to take in consideration that kids in this day and age (and moving forward) love scary, and don't mind it at a young age, especially closer to Halloween/October. It just seems childish, and considering most of the money Disney makes from this party is from the adult admission, they should make it exciting for every age group. I don't see how a country vibe or wreck it ralph relates with Halloween. They need to bring out the more rare characters JUST for the parade, not necessarily for a meet-and-greet/both. I'm going with my BF in mid October this year, and I hope they add in something to it, otherwise we will probably just go to some rides or get more candy while everyone else is there :D

Actually many of the little kids get scared very easily by a lot of things...I had kids next to me that got scared during the nemo show in AK also A Bug's Life... I remember they used to have the scary witch from snow white as a meet and greet out in the park in the 90's and she was too scary for kids. This is still fun.
