Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2022 RAINY OPENING NIGHT! Parade, Fireworks, RIDES, Treats, Fun!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2022 at Disney's Magic Kingdom opening night, returning after over 2 years - including Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade that is chock full of special characters! I bring you along for our night as we enjoy so much of what this special party has to offer, including - rides with special holiday overlays like Space Mountain - Holiday Run, Tomorrowland Speedway Race Through the Holidays and Mad Tea Party Christmas Party! We also enjoy the Christmastime parade, meet rare characters like Santa Claus, take photo opportunities, enjoy the Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show, Club Tinsel in Tomorrowland and MORE fun surprises around the park, all on a very rainy night and as we are finding out about Tropical Storm Nicole approaching, and already seeing huge bouts of rain all night. We of course enjoy treats, cookies, hot chocolate, eggnog and more too! Haha yes I am grateful and always try to do my best despite whatever annoyances, and rarely talk about the struggles (altho of course I show them honestly in the vids as part of the experience). The biggest struggle for this particular vid tho was being up editing, exporting and uploading until 8:30am :( I hate doing that! But I had to be dedicated to getting it done and doing it right, I couldn’t give up. But boy am I tired today! 🥲

It just took forever bc of all the parade and fireworks footage, etc. dunno just a long one to edit. Hi, Holidays at Disney seem so amazing, even in the rain I can't think of a more magical place to be. Beautiful decorations, parade is awesome, the Castle is gorgeous to. Ah yes, a rainy Christmas party...sounds like a Florida Christmas to me! 😂The song you listened to on Space Mountain is a rock version of Good King Wenceslas! A Saint Stephen's Day (the day after Christmas for Western Christianity; the 27th for Eastern) carol song based on the life of Wenceslaus I, Duke of Bohemia (who ruled from 921 to his death in 935). And that popcorn bucket is not only a popcorn bucket that moves and plays a tune, but that tune isn't just any old holiday tune. It's the tune of the A Christmas Fantasy Parade at Disneyland! They truly went above and beyond for that one!

My wife and I always went down to WDW for the Christmas Season. Once we had Santa to ourselves for a good 15 minutes because there was no one else in line to visit with him. He wouldn't let us go and kept talking to us. Those were fun times.

If the storm gets bad I suggest you come take. Trip up to Indy because it is a beautiful state during the Christmas time and even reliance from Nicole will still most likely impact here it will be not bad bad as Florida in this path or rest of the east coast.

If it's not pouring, is it truly Christmas at Disney? 😂I've said it before and I'll say it again - Florida gon' Florida! Glad that it tapered off in time for the parade and the fireworks, even if it did pick back up in the end. I know that the overlay with the extra lighting definitely contributed, but I have to say, your Space Mountain footage from the party is some of the best we've ever seen! ✨Space is likely our favorite mountain at the Magic Kingdom and one of our favorite rides overall, but it's so hard to shoot anything consequential on that ride! Even on the lift hill where it's a little brighter, it's just such a (deliberately) dark environment and so hard to compensate for with digital imaging. Well done! Also 28:34 Sam is an agent of chaos. 😂Glad that you two had a fun night at the first Christmas Party of the season, thanks so much for taking us along!

Scotland is a stunning place but I am biase lol u will love it Jackie so much stunning beauty and so different from Florida and what ur used to. Yes pack alot of warm clothes, at the moment its mild for the time of year here but it will be cold later in December and New year too (latest reports we look spot on for a white Christmas day). Yes try Irn Bru, Caramel Wafers, Tablet and Macaroon, Edinburgh rock, black pudding, haggis,neeps (turnip) and tatties, so much lovely things for you to try and tennents Lager, also our Scottish whiskey. If you do the street party in Edinburgh be ready as 30,000 people are in that party but its amazing. Have the best time here in the UK, safe travels I wish I could bump into u to say hi but the chance of seeing u is like seeing the Loch ness monster (and I live here lol). Yea that sounds perfect! If you get there earlier (bc u can technically get in as early as 4pm w your party ticket, you can do Jingle Cruise before the party starts (since it’s the only one open during the regular day).

Florida snow, LOL. You know 1" of rain translates into roughly 10" of show. From what I saw of the rain, if that had been real snoww it would have been up to your knees. Get dry, stay dry. Hunker down if you need to. We can wait a couple of days. Stay safe.

The decorations and shows seem good but the treats don’t seem like they put much effort into making anything special considering the cost. They could do a , holiday snack mix, mini ice cream sundae with peppermint…i feel like the treats you can purchase any time during holidays are better . Always love your perspective.
