This brings me to tears. I’ve been dealing with Lupus for 16 years and when I was first diagnosed in 2006, my hair was the first thing that came out. I was totally devastated because I had long, thick hair. Every time I have a flare up, my hair is the first thing that I lose! Thank you for helping women like us feel beautiful again!!

My sister have lupus but lost her kidney, she's the first black woman with a kidney transplant since 1999. Lupus erythematous is worst than discoidal lupus.

@@francessjean5861 lupus is lupus when it comes to my patients i look for the best treatment for their needs however having a family member with lupus having her first hip replacement at 21 while she was a soldier made me start seeing lupus patients. Thankfully I've never had bad hair issues but it attacked my kidneys at age 19 and I went into End Stage Renal Failure and did 3.5 months of Diaylsis. This so hits home...I was diagnosed in 1996....and began balding in spots. But I didn't let it define me. It's been 12 years since I've been delivered from Lupus and 19 years since I've had a flare-up.
