I've been using Autodepth AI, a 5$ blender plugin, to create depth maps from images made in comfyUI. Then I apply the depth maps and images directly onto square planes and get 3D-ish geometry with no mapping issues. I'm using this for mid-far distance assets for environment creation in Unreal Engine. It's amazing how much a little bit of depth helps 2D assets sit in the environment.

As always, awesome clip! You can plug the texture directly in the shader, no need for emission shader. You can also manually adjust the mist depth in the world settings to get the optimal results. Cheers!

Not until you completely retrain the models with HDRI. So much highlight clipping otherwise and reflection map issues and on and on.

I'm gonna try this workflow but with DaVinci Resolve and Fusion. For the 3D tracking and and camera projection. Even just the inpainting comfy workflow alone is very cool. The SDXL model is because of the lower steps we can use?

Thanks for the video, when loading the 2D workflow I'm having problems installing the Anyline node. I try to install it from the manager but it doesn't install properly, is there any solution? I think it's a line node, I don't know if another one could be used instead.

Only if it was made in Davinci resolve, as it is a free editing software and not from adobe, it would be flawless. It is way better than any other video I have ever seen, just that small tweak and just then will be perfect. Thanks for your free lessons!

The composition and render is all done in Blender it looks like, so you can use Resolve (just first my impression, haven’t watched the whole workflow yet)

A few people reported that they had problems with anyline. But it can easily be replaced. For example with “Canny” or “Realistic Lineart”. I will release a new version later!
