I always start big and hard, only ever go soft after a lot of hard work, but you've got to the job done so work with whatever you have. It does work, but I try to avoid it as my goto start.

I just tie on what I think will work and go from there. Usually fish with hardbodies but get bored sometimes and start with plastics 🤷🏼‍♂️😂
