Hi Sarah and Mick 👋Sad to see the place turning into something else. I wish where I am at, had such a place to go and search for treasures as y'all do there. We try to go and find things left at the rivers around our lovely state though. Thank you guys for going and showing those of us across the pond all the fun finds you find. See you tomorrow.

Well even though the dump is being buried, I still think that was the best larking. I mean you really worked at it and searched hard. And came out with some good gems! And omg! ...I died laughing at myself. I always always ALWAYS thought You and many others called it "searching the edge of the TIT". But you said it clearly..."Tip"! Omg I can't believe myself. Hahaha!

I live in Nevada USA and when I find a dump or im near a ghost town I always find glass turned purple by the sun if it was manufactured before WWI. I’ve never seen a United Kingdom hunter ever find this kind of purple glass. The U.S. purchased manganese from Germany to formulate glass. Of course , after the war started we discontinued this and changed the formula for glass and it no longer turned color..

Unfortunately the sifting didn't pan out this time, (in my most humble opinion,) you should keep it handy in your bag of "tricks" (tools to help you out) like your trowel, and little rake, squirt bottle etc... Maybe sometimes sift the dry dirt. Love all the interesting things you both find❤❤

Ah what a shame you missed your chance on this treasure trove of materials. It looked like there were possibilities for all kinds of treasures. Probably lost for ever now its been flattened and a layer of squashed earth laid on top. Thing is though. If they are building houses, surely they will have to dig foundations. Not a great sturdy foundation material to build on. Or at least it doesn't sound so to me. (Like i know anything about that kind of thing.) Ah well, you went, you saw and you found a few things. That lead baby doll head was very unusual. Pretty deadly too 😬 I imagine it would have had a cloth body, legs and arms. Otherwise would a young child be able to pick it up. 😂 💪 Catch you next time Sarah and Mick. That was like a 'Mission Impossible' lark. Keeping out of sight of the security...while raiding the treasures. Back ground music provided by my own head obviously 😂. Xx

Just remember if they don't develop the area weeds will grow back and the diggers will come back. And as it rains new stuff will come to the surface, kind of like a tide rolling in to find new stuff, sad that's how these things go. I am hoping they don't develop that area. "got my fingers crossed" Love the glass stopper and the clay speckled marble might be a bentonite marble, oy I know I am a bad speller!

Sarah you have the forgive me for being Angry with this video You found some complete bottles but it didn't take them. You Sean then act like other Mudlarkers will go there And pick up the stuff. But no one will be going back there to lark couse the are flattening the who dump all those bottles and other cool whole things will be smatched. You could Have taken them inckuding the ink bottle And the custard bowl And other things and gave them away to your Friends and people who Watch your videos. No One will be going there To lark anymore so that bottles the were hole will be smashed to bits It a shame they are doing that to a awsome Place but the did it also To my dump that I just Found and hasn't started searching cous2 days later they flatten it covered it with wood chip. I only began finding small things like A broken Charlotte, a tiny plate from a dills tea set. I was so excited To find a place like this and cried two days later When it was all gone had I knew I would had stay longer and grabbed Anything that was whole. I'm in Philadelphia pa USA. So now you can understand why Im upset with you for not taking those things. There history now smashed to bits and pieces.
