Thanks Paul for a great video. Up till now I’ve used Des Ships 30 second method of preparing pellets which seems to work for me as i find this allows greater control through the session but I will definitely try your methods now.

It’s strange how all the pro anglers do it differently! I think I got the 2 minutes from Jamie Hughes.

Hi Paul, have you any thoughts on the Maver MV-Rxx pole?
@paulstacklereviews169510 ай бұрын
I haven’t handled one but seen one in use and as you’d expect from a flagship brilliant performance. My mate recently bought the RXS and when it’s a bit warmer we are going to do a side by side with my 921 at various lengths.

Nice video Paul. I suspect all the pellets you were using are skrettings. The biggest problem I have is my local fishery (own pellets) supplies only coppins. I have tried lots of ways to prepare these for the method feeder but never had consistent success. I must confess that I now cheat and add 50% skrettings and this seems to work reasonably well. Do you have any experience with coppins preparation?

I know what you mean, I’d only soak coppers for 30 seconds and squeeze as much water out as I can, but they are never ideal. I tend to add a fine water absorbent groundbait (Supercrush, Ringers original) to give a mixture for the method.

Thx Paul 👍 I saw the mick viahls vid using the clip lock container method and have done my micros that way ever since and they are usually spot on. 😉

On commercials, you should always put a lot of pellets in at the end of your session... That's what keep them fishing good, they get used to feeding on em.
