It's finally here, the van build walkthrough of the Promaster City micro camper van! Loving the build so far. I filmed this walkthrough back in June, but I guess I had too much fun adventuring in the van this summer so I forgot to edit it. Enjoy!

One of the BEST conversions and I watch a lot of them but I've never seen a drawer fridge or those ceiling fans- unique!! I like that the electrical is in the side instead of the back. I'm looking to trade my short bus for a smaller van such as this one. Very inspiring!

Nice setup. I'm currently working on my Ram City Van that I use to attend extended music festivals. My bed area is on the passenger side also. I like your version for the drivers side which is my next project. Thanks for the idea.:)

Great build! Gotta love the subterrain area, LoL. I had one on my City as well. I've looked at those drawer fridges, they're great for keeping "cold" in as it's a chest fridge. I have the same fans, they're awesome. You are the only the second person Ive seen, in the hundreds of builds Ive watched to install a piano hinge properly. Most install them upside down and shim up around it. A lot of clever ideas here! Exceptional! Safe and Wonderful Journeys!

the lil small green propane tanks ive had leak. so if you think you smell gas it might be? good way to check it is put in a gallon ziplock bag with the air squeezed out seal it up and if it swells up with gas.. you know 👍

oh.. the flexable solar panels can short out the movement can mess them up. saw a video where someone put them on an RV shorted a couple out burned the roof.. just passing along that info 👍 🙏 be safe out there.. 😁

Looks great! The Dometic really isn't that pricey for what you get...drawer units always are more, but so convenient. I got my Dometic when they had just bought out Waeco (a high end competitor) and it has the Danfoss compressor, which is the quietest and most energy efficient of all my others (Norcold, BougeRV, Gosun Chill, Gosun Chillest, and Whynter). BTW, your Socket Panel Amazon link is the same as the Dometic Fridge link.

The solar panel on your black luggage box, thing isn't going to last as long as it could because when your vehicle isn't moving that black thing gets hot. And all solar panels, especially flexible ones hate heat. It will die from delamination.

@ThomasHeatonPhoto has a very similar setup to yours. You might want to check out his kitchen/table setup. Did you consider a window just behind the table? Nice for the views and helps eliminate moisture when cooking.

Outdoor kitchens seem a stupid idea - what if it's raining, snowing, minus 10, clouds of bugs, you're in somewhere noisy etc?

Yep, it is. Most people learn that pretty quickly but in that case, they just grab a sandwich or something else simple or they eat at a restaurant. She's only part time so it's definitely not a big deal for them. Plus you really want to limit how often you cook in your vehicle. Odors and grease will eventually get into the upholstery and the smell is impossible to get out. Even if the seats are leather, the ceiling is fabric.

Can you please share the width of the unfolded bed? Curious as to the size! Trying to determine the size of cubby space on the other side and yours looks pretty good
