Micro Glaze Waterproofing on Inked Projects

I really like the micro glaze for waterproofing inks. It actually intensifies the inks just a tiny bit. I have seen a video of Tim Holtz using a mini blender to apply, that saves your fingers and goes a little quicker. Very pretty! Blessings, Tree

I have a notebook which has just cartons for the cover and it got easily damaged by a tea cup or sth. . After searching how to make a carton waterproof (without using a tape), "Microglaze" word was one of the results then I'm here. I didn't know what it was so thank you so much for posting

Do you have the option to not buff it, so it stays more glossy? Thank you.

I am not sure. Buffing rubs it fully into the paper texture, giving it a complete & more successful coverage.

The stamp that you used to apply the glaze, can you provide a link to purchase that? What is the stamp called? Is it sponge, or cotton or cloth?

I used my finger to apply the glaze. Do you mean how I applied the ink? I used a blending tool. It comes with detachable sponges so you can change the sponge for each ink color. amzn.to/2WyJCwC

Search youtube for DIY micro glaze. It’s a mixture of petroleum gelly and alcohol.
