I can't wait to see the AH-1 Cobra, which is shown in black silhouette on the back of the box the heli comes in. There's more silhouettes also, one looks like an V-22 Osprey. This company definitely knows how to make products that are irresistible to scale model enthusiasts!😅 Although they have a nice scale appearance, the different models don't seem to scale with each other unfortunately. Kind of wish that they made all of their helis at a set scale, so they look more realistic (together) when sitting on the display shelf. Still though, it's amazing how cool these are. I could only dream of having such a nice RC heli when I was a kid!😅

well done! This heli has the best flight performance considering this price range> THe previous version , 4 blades mini heli, has too much slop in the control. This version has metal swashplate center that makes control solid have a 450 class

Yes, the flight time on this helicopter is relatively short, compared to other RC ERA helicopters.

I've had mine open already, as after some crash 'testing' (OK I crashed it, like a lot) it developed a hideous shake, once it started shaking the the electronics picked up the shake and magnified it, in like a feedback loop type thing, after a second or 2 the thing was uncontrollable and would keep gaining altitude until it was smashing against the ceiling. I had setup a kill switch, I'm flying it with a TX16X radio, so I set the kill switch to the 1 and only momentary switch. I opened it up to see if I could see what was happening, which I couldn't. I ordered the optical flow board separately, so I needed to open it again to fit the board. Fitting the OF board was a total PIA, because the wires on the board were so short, and I had to try a few different routes to get it to work, and then trying to get the OF board to line up with the slots in the body was a nightmare. It took me altogether too long to get all the plastic pegs to align. The thing I noticed the 2nd time I put it back together, was some of the threads for the screws in the plastic body had became stripped, also I had lost a few screws, as some of them won't come out completely so I guess I must have dropped some when I was working on it. Luckily I had some self tapping strews of the correct size, so I used those. The funny thing is, the optical flow, seems to have calmed down the shaking, so don't know if I'm imagining that, or if it actually did help. Anyway, it's a great model, especially for the price. It's only 4Ch, but the swashplate does have 3 servos, so it has pitch, it's just that pitch and throttle are tied together.

Maybe the main shaft is not straight anymore, so it may be helpful to replace it with a new one ...

This is a very nice " take-apart" video, thank you for your work! Question: I have two identical 206's. One performs well, the other barely can put in hovering. Both with 3 batteries tested, both new from the package. Both sound equally. The one with the nearly zero-hover capability also is nearly unstoppable when "landed". Do you have an idea what reason? Pitch of the blades look the same on both helis. Could it be the headspeed- setup?

Hi, thank you. The right protocol is E129, sub protocol C186. If you can't find it these two protocols in your radio, you have to update the firmware on your multi protocol module to the latest one (I had to do that on my TX16S).

Is there any reason i cant take the optical flow from this heli and put it on the c189? Since the optical flow for the c189 is junk? Or is it the flight controller thats the issue on the c189?

How much flight time do you get out of this heli? I get 7 - 8 mins until autolanding. I chedked battery volatage and it was 7,4 - 7,5 V. That should be enough for another several mins of flight. Mine also has different flight controller.

Great Video! After first flight I noticed not much power from motor. After landing the main rotor will not spin any longer. Most likely I burned to main motor already as everything else seem to work fine. Any suggestions? Anyone else had this happen?

Hi, unfortunately I was not able to disassemble the rotor head as the screws were too difficult to unscrew (strong loctite). You can't go wrong with this helicopter as it's such a good value model.

Can you help me !! Mine almost take my hand off and my cat head ! it turns on without binding or turning on the controller !!!(insane ) never had something like this happening in a drone or chopter !!!!! and it only rotate the back rotor when i push the take off button !!! Because after turning on the rc chopter i can turn the controller and binding but it never goes down !!! it something in the flight controller ??? because both motors are working !

I think it's good to have options, so you can choose when buying ... if you buy it without the optical flow it's a little cheaper.

The seller has made a bad job in your case. I can't tell you how that sensor works on this particular helicopter as at this moment I only own this helicopter without the optical flow sensor. But I have a new C138 PRO version coming, I think that that one will come with the optical flow sensor, so I will be able to answer your question then.
