Micro Shot Peening And Parts Washing Made Easy- Vapor Honing Technologies

Hey guys, this is Ryan from Vapor Honing Technologies. We have a little camshaft off of a Honda 50cc and we're doing some micro shot peening. So, we'll be using the Hydro Blast to clean off all the grease, and later, we'll be using the Vapor Honing System (our prototype VH700 benchtop) to polish it up.

I know that micro shot peening produces a very thin layer of compressed steel on the surface of the part. It also helps to drastically reduce friction. Can you do some demonstrations of the benefits of micro shot peening compared to an untreated part?

Shot Peening is a process that alters the surface of the metal part based on the density (and size) of the shot and velocity in which it impacts the surface. You might take a minute and do the math. Can you demonstrate your claim that your new system is truly Shot Peening the material? It sounds like a false claim. Maybe retake this video and call it check out our new 700 system!!
