Alex, You lift so many people up. God Bless you brother. 👍

I love what you said, and the reality of it. I'm not against education, in fact it has served many people well, but I'm against what it has turned into; Students focus on grades rather than actual learning, and hands on application. Your workshop will be an excellent step for those who want to start Micro-Soldering and for those who want to get better, but like you said you're going to share the knowledge and technique, but its up to the student to put it to work. At first your strive for perfection, master the skill and later you go for excellence, because no one is perfect. Bravo!! All the love from your home country!

I hope that the workshop includes some hands on experience by the students under your supervision. Videos, Books and Lectures are great for exposing a person to theory, methods and techniques. But a student learns the best by doing and getting feedback from an expert as to what they are doing wrong, or being advised how they can do something better. "Learn by doing". You are absolutely correct about a college degree. Back in the late 1990s I was on a project in Algeria. The government said that would pay the salaries of any young engineers that we hired. I hired 5. Three of them were women! At first, I was surprised that I had hired three women. However when I gave it some thought, it all made sense - perfect sense. A young woman in 1990s Algeria who had completed four years of education to get a degree in Engineering and was fluent in English or French had exactly all the traits that I was looking for in a new employee!
@senseisecurityschool93373 ай бұрын
Exactly - feedback is what you can't get from KZbin. I can see on KZbin what Alex does, or what someone else does. They can't see what I'm doing. That's the biggest value of being in the room with an instructor.
@aperrao3 ай бұрын
great video....now, instead of "better than factory", this is "better than university" ...i agree with your point of view: some jobs require a college degree, but there are also jobs that require training on technical stuff and special fine motor skills, like micro soldering. Best of luck with your workshop.

For me learning I always wanna know the why behind need 10K resistors 100K and so on so I know the color's and instantly were they should go the polarity. Then I would know without needing to look up diagrams or videos of others doing it. Love learning but always wanted to learn the reason behind the part needed for the specific location so I know better next time I try.
