Micro studio: La Grange (rough)

Messing around with some ZZ Top, trying to figure out if it'll work well enough without drums or bass to bring into a live set. Still undecided, so haven't learned it well enough to drop a proper solo in there. Needs more gain on the guitar for it to properly sing during the solo (the first solo especially struggles with that), but any more gain on the amp itself and the rhythm loops become unmanageable. Using a boost pedal feels like it'd be cheating, but... thinking that it needs it.
Cheated the loops by setting up the C riff before starting, but the outro A riff is looped live.
Gear: 1980s Carlos Les Paul copy with Ibanez humbuckers, Boss RC-1, Ashton Viper 100, 1x12" cabinet.
