The Steinwhale 10 in 1 is awesome. I've had it for a couple of months and can't recommend it enough for a small/micro EDC kit.

I will second the Steinwhale bit kit and 1/4" stubby driver (rate 5 out of 5 stars). It has been in my EDC for almost a month and looks to be a permanent add. I keep the largest phillips and flat head bit in the stubby and slide a 5/16" nut driver in open space of the plastic organizer. The whole kit fits into a leather index card wallet along with 4" pliers and a 4" adjustable spanner. Most pleased :)

I had one. I returned it, because the bits did not fit into my ratchet. They would go in a bit, but not enough to apply any torque to them.

One of the other noteworthy things about that stubby kit, is that it's actually a true stubby. Most stubby bit drivers end up not being very stubby once you put in the bits. And sometimes a lack of space makes that difference critical.

I just redid my edc swapping from a leatherman wave to individualized tools since I really only ever used the pliers, knife and driver on the wave. Love the bits in that Steinwhale kit just hoping they hold up to use.

Don't care for the Steinwhale extension when it comes to the bit fit inside it. The bits are hard to pull out once in the extension, but i bought them for the 711L ratchet and the bits work great in/for that. I may have just got a dud Steinwhale extension. They also fit nice in my Prestacycle ratchet and extension. I think, but haven't researched, that 711L, Topeak and Prestacycle are probably all from the same factory. They all look pretty much the same and the fit of the bits i have is the same in 711L and Prestacycle... don't have the Topeak one but I hear that they're the same as the ones I do own.

Great video as always. I saw the Steinwhale driver and bit kit on @Dracomies and Todd Parker. The removsl of the plastic to hold the extender makes it much more compact.

I have Topeak Tool Bar with those stubby bits, it's no longer available but with a Dremel & Cut-Off Wheel you can make more... just don't like those double ended bits... but that Steinwhale is very similar to something I created the Matco Tool Truck had some handles like the Steinwhale you just press a bit in the plastic and BAM! I also pressed in a magnetic bit holder and it's just like the Steinwhale I also took an extra Craftsman stubby phillips and epoxied a Snap-On magnetic bit holder in it I like the Snap-On since it has the magnet & retainer snap-ring, really holds the bits secure I call it the Snap Craft stubby bit driver but overall I use the Snap-On (Williams) short T-handle bit driver for nearly everything just about wore it out and looking a Williams

Just bought the steinwhale bit set, love the bits so far, but the extension i received was not good, the bit got so wedged in i couldnt remove it even with a pair of knipex or vice grips, ended up having to slice it open to get my bit back, bit was barely scratched however.

I've got the Steinwhale short bits after watching Todd's video. Too short to me at 20 mm. The Wiha at 30 mm is too long. Why nobody makes double end bits at the standard length of 25 mm?

I have the Steinwhale stubby and from my experience the bits aren't the greatest. They're little soft, the torx maybe cut short the fit of the t20 is too tight. The extension can only be used with double side bits. It's all good stuff idea wise but when I've t20 all day this one doesn't' fit well kind of upset me. Otherwise the rest of it is great.

It really depends on what you’re doing. I have a class A RV. It’s rusty. A high torque impact is sometimes called for. I also do electronics work, and need to disassemble tiny things. Having the bits I need in my shoulder bag is wonderful. Makes it much easier for me to find them.
