2:20 "They're feeling very happy" & 2:42 "They're enjoying the paradise the're living in here", lmao. I love you're commentary and explanations of different things. Thx from Melb, Australia

I use a Handiwipe in place of the sponge or dishcloth as it dries quicker between food preparation times. Place in washing machine or dishwasher to sanitize. They are designed to be thrown away. Vinegar solution spray is an effective microbe killer.

We use wash cloths to wipe the table and after washing them by hand, we microwave them for 20 - 30 seconds. They steam beautifully and I'm sure most of the bacteria don't enjoy a sauna!

how does the "dirty" sponge compare to a sponge you washed with detergent(Spüli)?

Great title and content; the 2025 strategy is looking good so far! People hate and love to learn about gross stuff!

It's interesting some harmful bacteria don't smell like anything 🦠

Ye, a classic example is body odor, bacteria feeds on the sweat produced in your arm pits and makes butyric acid in the process, which is a major factor in the distinctive smell

I'd want to see in a video the methods of bacteria classification that are posible with only a compound microscope. With a stain simpler than Gram by the book if possible. The classifications itself must be derived mostly of what can be seen in a optical microscope as they are quite old.

A Canon D90 camera connected directly (without intermediate optics) to the microscope.
