This reminds me of a time when an unexpected one had us caught in a parking lot of a pizza restaurant. There were pitch black clouds ahead. I saw a small tree fall over, and papers were flying in our cat. It was insane.

@@rustyshackleford5830 Thunder storms in the southwest are extremely quick and violent. They moisture comes in from the gulfs after rising over the mountains and descends into the hot desert regions so fast that it catches you off guard.

Yes about a half mile away from it. The warehouses were on and near 47th ave, I was at the QT located on 51st ave and I-10. There were three buildings destroyed as far as I know. One person was killed I believe.

I was kind of nervous because I had an ex-co worker that was thinking about getting a job with that company. Thankfully I saw him about a week or two ago so I at least know it wasn’t him that died. But yes, it’s tragic that someone died there. The destruction on those buildings is kind of mind blowing. These were really big warehouses, and half of the structure just caved in. Crazy power nature has!

crazy weather.. expect the unexpected 2024 & beyond. we had hail in FL 4 times. so far only did minor roof damage from bringing down tree debris. lightning close & strong like never before. had to add extra solar grounding.
