Have you tried chemical exfoliants like salycilic acid treatments? It's generally gentler to the skin. Tearing at the skin might damage it in the long run.

Yaa it really might be! 😫 Unfortunately I've been trying different salicylic acid products for a few years and none do anything to help control my sebum production. Currently I'm trying the SLMD acne spot treatment but it also doesn't seem to do me much good. 😓

I heard these are not good for your face!! I advise you not to use these anymore😊 I would use a chemical exfoliant gentler on the skin ..I feel it does a way better job this can lead up to scarring..have a blessed day, hope this helps😊. I personally have used all three of the tools.. which I no longer do ..I use chemical exfoliants.

Why not use salicylic acid? It will do the same thing but not as harsh, and it will do it evenly.

I have tried maaany different types of salicylic acid but have had absolutely not luck with them. I am still using a facewash that contains salicylic acid, though! Maybe a deeper wash is what I need.

Honestly, it's not really necessary but I just love doing it because it makes my skin look and feel amazing. Also, sometimes there'd be a huge blackhead that may have turned into a pimple if I didn't extract it. So ya, I just gotta do it weekly. 😆

@@rullysnjy Ah I see. Brightening creams such as vitamin c would help with that. Retinol creams can also help. Stay away from direct sunlight, wear sunscreen. Dermarolling will also help with that as well as indentation scars. 👌
