Hey Jonah I love your content and great information , I have a tray of sunflower microgreens in germination I use organic seed which has give me great results before same lot but I moved into a new grow space and they have gone mouldy in the centre of the tray the only difference I used a heat mat for germination do you think this is why they could have moulded?

I would try without the heat mat and see what the results are. It's always helpful to isolate one variable at a time to figure out what is causing an issue :)

For smaller scale, putting the soil into your garden is a great use. The trays are washed and reused many times

Barrina 42w 4' LED Grow Lights. You can get them on Amazon :) Either the full spectrum white or pink color lights works really well! I have a video comparing the two you can check out!

Please, Jonah, I beg you, can you explain laws and regulations on selling home-grown microgreens, in Ontario, Canada? There's almost no resources on the web regarding this, and some people claim you dont need anything to sell.

It's difficult for me to provide this kidn of advise and it is legal advise and I am not an expert on this. In my local area there wasn't any laws or restrictions from growing or selling microgreens. A few years ago there was a regulation called the "Safe food for canadians act" that was implemented that required certain food tracebility paperwork to be done, but I'm not certain if it is required when you sell in your local city or region

I'm getting ready to experiment with a 1200 and 600 watt full spectrum mars hydro led over my micro greens. I may just have to play with the heights what's your thoughts

It'll be tough as that is super overkill in watts and you'll need to have the lights far away. This means you can grow less trays in the same space. Those lights are great for tomatoes, peppers and other flowering plants. I'd stick to lower power lights to you keep closer to the microgreens
