I would love to hear about the licensing and regulations associated with home based grows in your videos. It is a whole layer of this business most don't see or get in to! I am extremely curious as to what licensing and certifications he has to be able to sell to restaurants.

Has anyone tried promix BX?

Yes, it doesn't work as well for micros. Holds too much water

How many trays could I buy when first starting out?
@microgreensconsulting3 ай бұрын
Bootstrap farmer sells them in as few as 2 trays per order, but id recommend getting at least 10-20 to start

I’m starting with 10…which you’ll need 20 solid trays and 10 with holes or mesh. I bought 10 with holes and 10 mesh bc I wasn’t sure. As far as I’m aware, you need 3 trays for each setup to get started. One for the bottom, one with mesh/holes on top of that and one on top to germinate. Once germinated, you take the top one off. I have about $400 invested and haven’t even grew anything yet lol. I’m literally starting today! I’m doing hydroponics with the ocean solution.

Well now I'm confused. At first you said cilantro germinates less effectively as heat increases but then say Charlie is getting 5 day germ on cilantro instead of 7 because his temperatures are higher. That's contradictory.

It's not linear. Up to a certain temp all seeds will germinate faster and after that point they will slow down. That optimal point is different for each crop and the cutoff temp when the seed germinates is different for each variety as well. Cilantro about 85f will simply not germinate well. Between 70-80 is optimal

Infokd it super annoying that ai cant get the metal wire shelves you guys are using over here in Germany. 🇩🇪 only Amazon sells them but not the right size. Even researched chinese whole salers but to ship them would be too expensive.
