Sehr gute Arbeit, mach darauf ein Patent uund schickes diese Mikrohydraulik an Lego. Dies wäre für sehr viele Legobauer eine Erweiterung ihrer Baumöglichkeiten. Alles was über Pneumatik nicht steuerbar ist wird damit ermöglicht.

Think about these model hydraulics, on say a 1/50 scale die cast crane . The possibility's are endless in regards to model crane collectors. I for one will pay close attention to the progress of these miniature hydraulics. This is right up my alley,working 1/50 scale models... Are you going to sell them as a kit ,if so how can folk purchase ?

A pneumatic type operation would also operate the cylinders but there would be some differences. This setup is using a non-compressible fluid such as a low viscosity oil or water based fluid as the hydraulic medium. You can see the tiny reservoir between the valve block and the motor/pump assembly. This allows the system to deliver fluid to the actuators and also collect the returning fluid. A pneumatic system would eliminate the need for a reservoir and result in a 'dry' arrangement rather than a 'wet' arrangement as exhaust air from the actuators is released to atmosphere but there would also be disadvantages. These would include less stability due to the compressibility of air and a lower operating force due to operating pressures being less than hydraulic systems. I would hazard a guess that the tiny pump is only operating at fairly low pressures anyway and is operating the system for visual function. It is a remarkable setup and hats off to the creator!

So, I was interested in getting a handful of cylinders, the pump, and control box; but I'm not paying $70 for each cylinder & $250 for the pump. That's nuts man! Make those prices more realistic and I'll buy a set-up.

That’s incredibly realistic. Most places only sell you the plans for $20, and the only place you get a finished model from charges you thousands. So you’re complaining about nothing.
