My question is what sound engine? The original sounded so good because it was spawned from the MS 2000 engine. Crunchy, digital, VA greatness.

Curious about this too. Also very curious about how the engine will compare to the opsix, which was very capable as a routable virtual analog synth (its best kept secret imo). I’m secretly hoping for a “vintage” mode similar to what’s on the opsix, albeit one that emulates the waspy sort of 00s DSP sound and not the DAC of older FM synths.

Looks like a nice update, always liked the sound from the microKorg, but how about instead of remaking the microKorg, why not use the legacy of this synth and combine it with a newly designed Electribe EMX - 16 Tracks, 8 drum parts and 8 music tracks which you can either use as a sample track or a synth track using the Korg microKorg synth engine, a new Electribe is what the people are waiting for.

any info on how the 3 OSC work ? more Kingkorg Electribe 2- 1Parameter Models or do they still interact? I wonder why the ModSeq never went into the Microkorg Format - I am a heavy and huge user (the stage is always µkorg) ... so hope the real specs will show up on the page soon?

bought the micro korg when it first came out for 180 quid, sold it broken and in a bad way in 2020 for 230 quid. i will probably get this one
