I did it with the Microkorg and it sound very similar with the microkorg mic , and it sounded very well

I have the regular Microkorg. Got my patch from the Martin Ross channel here on KZbin. I tweeked out the sound though..

I'm going to eventually make a unique talk box patch for myself. The one I show in the video is a pretty generic patch and would make a good starting point for a talk box patch. I was thinking about using more than 1 oscillator and even pitching one up so that theres 2 voices. Just a thought though.

That's for joining the channel! To answer your question, I just use the microkorg and my talk box, but if I want to record the talk box I will use a DAW and microphone to record it with.

Hi, love your videos but I have a question, where does the sound comes from ? From the korg speakers ? Or the talkbox speakers ? or do you need to plug it in some external speakers/amplifier ? And how do you use it without a computer ?

The microkorg s by itself produces sound through speakers under the keyboard. But when you connect the talk box to the microkorg the sound from the microkorg will come out of the talk box tube. You dont need a computer to make this work. All you need is a synthesizer, like the microkorg, a 1/4 inch cable, and a talk box. I believe you san still save custom patches, you just have to overwrite one of the existing patches.

It came with a mic, so How do i get a sound out of the mic now?

You dont need the mic that comes with the microkorg to use a talk box. The microphone is for the vocoder setting. If you want to use the vocoder, turn the big dial to "vocoder" and then connect the mic to the back of the synth and sing into the mic while you press the keys.
