The Japanese versions have more details & way polished. The American versions of the Unicron Trilogy anime were a bit rushed in terms of the animation & dialogue because Hasbro wanted the anime to be aired the exact moment the toys hit the stores. U know, toy promotion strategy.

​@monkeynt5780 Nope. Garry Chalk and David Kaye are better for this as the Optimus and Megatron here have different personalities from their G1 counterparts. Optimus here is younger and more of a military commander compared to G1 Optimus who is like a father. Megatron here is a cunning tyrant.

Have it animated by the studios by either Sunrise (known for Code Geass & Gundam), A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online & Darling in the Franxx) or Gainix/Trigger (Also Darling in the Franxx, Evangelion & Gurren Lagann) Now comes the big question, who will be doing the re/writing

Do you mean Devastator/Scavenger? He was initially introduced as a Decepticon, but then it was revealed that he's a double agent and was actually an Autobot all along. He switched sides before Thrust even appeared.

In Japan the Primes were always referred to as 'Convoy' even before the idea of Optimus Prime was even conceived by Hasbro, his original Diaclone toy (used in G1) was called 'Battle Convoy'. Simply because he transformed into a semi-truck.
