@steven moses I haven't done them the way Andy just said. I do the method i watched from Des Shipp and put some in air tight tub fill with cold water and put in the fridge over night and they are perfect every time. But i will definitely try Andy's way if i go at the last minute and haven't prepared the night before. There expanders are by far the best and easiest to prepare on the market. Great video as always Andy very helpful and entertaining at the same time. Great to see you with Preston & Sonubaits. 👍👍

Hi Andy, great explanation of plumbing on the slope. When fishing at our local snake lake the slope is quite extreme with a narrow shelf tight over. Most F1s are caught on this shelf hugging the far bank, so would you try and target fishing down the slope. Thanks Mark.🎣
@Sonubaits2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, ordinarily you'd want to be finding the correct depth and trying to find that on the slope.. if it's two feet (or now that the temperature has dropped closer to three feet) on the shelf further over then fishing here would be ideal. But... if as you say the slope is too steep and extreme this can be a big issue, firstly because accurately presenting your hookbait is difficult and also because you can never truly know that your feed has landed and remained in a small pile where your hookbait is. So in this situation it can pay to have a rig set up at the bottom of the slope where it flattens out and another at the top of the slope again where it flattens out. This allows you two options to work out where the fish are more comfortable feeding. When its cooler the chances are it'll be in the slightly deeper water, as it warms up they'll push over into the shallower water.

Hi Andy, does it matter if I use stotz all the time rather than shot .?? Stotz so much easier to use etc and wondered if just using stotz made a difference.??
@Sonubaits2 жыл бұрын
"It's personal preference. If you prefer to use Stotz, use them. In terms of how they perform it won't make any difference. But they do have a tendency to move so as long as you are checking they are where they should be after landing a fish then there won't be an issue. Often them moving is a benefit for changing presentation during the session. Shot usually come into play for me when fishing with big bulks - silverfish fishing with deep rigs for example."

Great video as ever Andy. You mentioned at this time of year you'd fish a 2ft. Is this always on the bottom or would you also consider fishing 2ft through the water?
@Sonubaits2 жыл бұрын
With this particular method it's a way of targeting fish on the bottom. 2-3ft is where at this time of year fish seem to happily feed. But on warmer days pushing into shallower water or cooler and you may need to drop deeper.

Great video as always with Andy for the promotion of Pro Sonubaits pellets. However, just one question: When will it be possible to find Sonubaits products in quantity at our French distributors. English suppliers cannot sell and ship all products containing animal products to other countries. Hello from France.

Got some stotz today, good grief they're tiny! Think I'll have to go get my eyes checked and probably a pair of glasses to use them, even the 8's seem half the size of the shot I used to use, the 11's are dust compared to what the video shows! Gutted that winter's come back and the forecast for April is pretty much cold and wet, my bones need summer warmth nowadays.

i dont think the camera caught 1 shot of you hooking the expander fully, but your narrative was pretty good !
@Sonubaits2 жыл бұрын
You probably wouldn't be surprised at the amount of times Andy was told he had to do it just above the tub but continued to do it above the camera. 🤪 Basically, don't go through the top and out the side... Go against the grain by rolling it onto the hook through the rounded part of the pellet (not the flat ends 🙃)

@@robertedmunds2394 Hi Robert, it's often due to the fact we are ordinarily doing multiple forms of media on one day. The images from this may be used for a Website article or magazine.. for example. We never put everything caught during the day in the net. Especially as it warms up or if the fish are big. Usually just a sample for a catch shot for the image. But you're right to enjoy Robs videos.. he's a great guy. 👌🏼

I have to say I get giddy with the feed, I only pleasure fish, but in me head every session is a fish final, my question is, I more often than not have my swim fizzing, BUT get frustrating indications, after watching this, am I putting too many micros in, the fish get distracted into searching for the micros ignoring my hook bait, do you get me, my peg often resembles a jacuzzi, but the bites by comparison are slow to come, frustrating is an understatement.
