Great videos Ray. Just wondered if you study japanese or brazilian jiu jitsu? How do you decide whether to just use an mdb file as the backend or whether to use sql server express, sql server or azure? I'm about to start a new job and will probably need to create a split access database to handle various manufacturing operations. I've done this before but always just split the database into an .accdb / .accde front end and .mdb backend with the former sitting on each user's desktop and the latter on the server. There will only likely be a few tens of users and less than 10 concurrent users so this is probably what I'll do. However, I wondered if I'm missing a trick here and should use a more powerful backend. There won';t be any data security issues and I don't need the data to be accessible from multiple locations. So would a straight old split database like I've described above seem like the best way to go? Thanks, Mark
