Good! Yes, there are prerequisites, A candidate for this exam must be familiar with both Azure administration and development and must be an expert in at least one of these areas. So you have to pass either AZ-104 or AZ-204 first.

I'm already in the IT industry and have been working on the Azure Cloud for about 5years now. I haven't done any cloud certification yet. Regarding Module 1: Review Question 3 - I always understood if you wanted "No Down Time" that Fault Tolerance was the solution. Perhaps I'm mixing up my experience with VMware when compared to Azure. With VMware, if you want a VM to have 100% up time ("no down time"), the solution is fault tolerance. High Availability on the other hand results in minimal downtime in that another instance of a VM can be restarted either on the same host (or another host), meaning a short period of downtime. At least this is the way it's understood in the VMware world. Is it different with Azure in that no downtime for an application is defined as "High Availability" ?

Awesome start to your cloud learning. After AZ900 you will get an idea about how you want to pursue your Azure journey. If you want to be an Azure Administrator or Engineer, you can study AZ-104. If you would like to learn about Azure Security, you can start with AZ-500. If you are keen to dive deep into Azure Networking, then AZ-700.
