Microsoft Excels New TOCOL() Function

I often have to export data from our database that has data seperated by a"|" - I think I would be able to use this function to get a single list of unique values. I am excited to try! Thank you for your (always) clear presentations.

To turn a single column of data into an array in Excel, you can use a combination of functions like INDEX and TRANSPOSE

Respected Sir, I have Excel 2021 version. My Excel is not showing TOCOL and TOROW functions. As I am trying to write down the TOCOL function its showing NAME error in the cell. How can i enable the TOCOL and TOROW in my 2021 EXCEL? Please Help.

For years I also used the awful "Merge & Center" button. Merging cells is AWFUL! It destroys the Column structure of a Worksheet. In the BILLS Worksheet sample, cells C2:F2 literally don't exist because they're merged with cell B2! After years of using that solution which sometimes drove me crazy, I discovered a MUCH better solution. In the BILLS worksheet, select cell B2, and then click the "Merge & Center" button to un-merge the cells. This will (should!) leave cells B2:F2 selected. Leaving those cells selected, click the Alignment flyout at the bottom right corner of the Alignment section of the Home Ribbon, and click the Horizontal drop down and select "Center Across Selection". Now you have the same effect but maintain the column structure of the Worksheet. Hope that helps!
