Thanks for the great questions. I love this dev team. I think they're loving what they do and they sound so joyful. Nothing is perfect, but i really think this hobby is in very good hands right now.

Honestly making the player separate from their aircraft was the smartest move on Asobo's part. It just opens the door for so many potential activities especially if they find a way to incorporate multiplayer support. Imagine downloading some awesome Parallel 42 bush sceneries and getting to exit your aircraft while in multiplayer to sit by a campfire with your online friends. Or maybe someday in the future flying to some sort of virtual Oshkosh and meeting all your friend and partaking in online events together while your aircraft are parked.

They have the digital twin. I’m sure a transport/world simulation has crossed their minds. However, having a social experience where you can walk around and interact with other players would really enhance the experience. Next gen console or platform needed iguess considering the current xbox limitations.

"Go look for the lost kitten in the grass" to make an example. 100, 200, 500 meters whatever.. should be enough to make that exciting

I wish they can overcome the 100 meters limitation and we can hike virually as much as we want...

I didnt know there was a limit on walking. Why? That doent make any sense at all. Hipefully, someone makes a mod that lets you do that.

Unlimited walk around is critical. To not have that after all this preliminary work is done would be totally asinine. I get a bad vibe from David Dedeine. Seb and Jorg are always positive and ready to think outside the box. I don't get that from David. Frankly I think that perhaps Jorg may need to step in and let him know again exactly who pays the bills.

He literally said he wants to remove the limit.

@@GiuseppeNelva When you are the man in charge and say you WANT to remove the limit you are really saying, I have no intention of removing the limit. It comes out when you say, I AM removing the image limit. Big difference among the snakes these days. I trust this guy as far as I trust a politician. I don't think Jorg trusts him either.

@@mesillahills 1: the COO is not the man in charge. That's not how it works. 2: He says the limit is there in the current build because there are bugs is you walk far, which is pretty obvious. At some point the aircraft will be far enough that the location will stream out of memory, likely causing issues. 3: you're applying your very personal opinion to a person you don't know, and that's pretty weird. 4: I guarantee you don't know what Jorg thinks and I can also guarantee he doesn't agree with you.

@@GiuseppeNelva I don't want to get stuck with what this man is preaching and by watching enough videos you will find out a lot of other people feel the EXACT same way. Many attendees expressed discontent with that system as well. Jorg himself has been very open about how it could be changed in the future simply because he too has heard the flack. Why should a seasoned pilot go through all that crap to get to the meat of the system.... missions. As for walk-around. If you can do a world-wide drone camera, you sure as hell can do a pissy little walk-around. Seb NEVER says something can't be done and for the most part Jorg doesn't either. This guy does and that causes my concerns. I'm sure he has good intent but I question his logic. Seems a little closed-minded authoritarian to me.
