I think people need to relax a bit. FS24 is an amazing achievement. I grew up with the late-90's MS flight sims, like FS98 and the Combat Flight Simulators. Where we are now is just a quantum leap from anything we could have dreamt of back then. I suppose having that context makes me grateful for what they've been able to deliver so far. Confident that MS will tidy up the rough edges, as they did with FS20.

Just wana say. The game works pefrectly for what i im anticipating. Its new! Give it time. Career mode works great "so far". But be gental guys. This is a simulator at the end of the day. Lots of moving bits an code. Just appreciate we have it!!

Absolutely not. Voices, navigation, functionality, etc are broken. You get demerit for inaccurate actions. The game is a joke. This is not acceptable and you shouldn't be accepting it. It just lets these guys do worse and worse with no ramifications or accountability

@@AK-xe2lyif they don’t have issues with it then what ramifications should they have? I agree that there are too many bugs (namely just crashing a mission 5 mins from completion… that’s the only one that pisses me off) but you can’t speak for someone else’s experiences.

Cannot load route on world map on the 737 max since the update, when you input find route nothing happens so no waypoints

Loving my time with Flight Sim 24. Career mode is a bit buggy but I havent experienced anything game breaking so far. Mainly hold shorts that are impossible or horribly positioned, or ATC that has a mind of their own. Going on around 100 hours and later this week Im getting a yoke in the mail so I can really immerse myself.

I still can't enjoy this sim. Despite the fixes some of my most desired aircraft don't work properly still, and the restrictiveness on the career mode make it hard to enjoy. Haven't even successfully ported liveries and airports yet.

The last patch broke more things than it fixed. And also didn't fix what it claimed to. Still no rain effect in cockpit Buttons stopped working sometimes, and all my settings were put back to default. Flgiht stick buttons don't work, etc, etc

Yep, and I expect this to happen with the first few sim updates. The new update has made my sim experience worse as well.

@@AusFlightSimmer Glad I'm not the only one. I'm not bothering with career until things are more stable. Had a brief look and loading times were horrendous, with the PC fans going up to full power while looking at a blank screen, waiting and wondering if it crashed, only for it to load a cut scene that lasts 5 seconds. My poor electric bill.

I've been playing the sim in the Xbox series s, and i love it, i got an joystick and i just discovered how much i love flying the helicopters (which i hated on controller becaus the damn thing would just spin and fall) somehow i liked it more than flying the planes

I've had more issues with the latest update. There are colored lines in the senery that disapear when you get colser to them. Loading times are much longer now.

I unchecked the box input repetition under camera settings on mouse. i had to uncheck it on all the rotation axis

When are the going to make Carenado fix the the main rotor rotation direction on the R-66? The turn clockwise and they should turn counterclockwise. The Miltech CH-47's EFB map is broken. It's like watching scrambled cable.

You think it's bad on your high-end system. Try it with Xbox series X. Scenery is cartoon-like in most areas, except the grand canyon (which is amazing). Hopefully, they'll realize that Xbox users will never be able to stream Scenery that will come close to 2020 version, and allow downloading of Scenery. Fingers crossed.

Important factors for a Flight Sim. 1/ Accurate Engine/motion correlation. 2/ Accurate Flight characteristic. 3/ Accurate behaviors with systems failures. 4/ Ultimately detailed Runways. 5/ Visual concentration on the runway and surrounds during approach and landing. All other scenery can be a blur. 6/ Correct ATC and AFIS protocol for the nation and Aeronautical Authority. 7/ A realistic PPL Examination :-)

I love the avatar and some areas are amazing like the grand canyon that the photogrammetry is great but other airports like in KLWM in the US and Dublin,Ireland are super super bad 👎performance is terrible too 👎Ground textures at high altitude are lie FS2004 😂😂😅😅🤣🤣Never again I will buy MSFS and like I say before X-Plane is much better

I'm hating this sim more and more. Only after the last update would it actually load and not hang at 97%. Even though I have the AU$300 Aviator version, I'm missing airports (have YCAB but not YBBN) and some aircraft like the B737 MAX. I really think Microsoft and Asobo really f*cked it up big time. Crass words for a crass product. Absolutely disgusted.
