You know, for a guy who is concerned about blinding folks on the ramp, you often forget THE most blinding light source - strobes! As you know I'm sure, they're only used entering a runway, nowhere else. Just a little pet peeve of mine lol, your videos are very fun to watch, and educational too - thanks for sharing!

theRealAV8r Yes and I have worked with a 727 for many years on the ramp, the 727 is a three man airplane and hard to get completely configured after landing waiting for the apu to come up etc. I have had a 727 pull in with strobes on more times than not!

theRealAV8r keep in mind the captainsim 727 has its strobe lights attached to the beacon light command. Stupid I know.

OHH! I fly the ELVIS2 Sid all the time on vatsim, I use it for Seaport flights to KMKL in the c208. EONEE is pronounced East one, just thought I'd throw that out there :P

I do like the Captain Sim aircraft. My only problem is that they're very resource and FPS intensive.

I've found the PMDG 737-800NGX and the Qualitywings 757-200 to be more lag intensive than the Captain727. I absolutely adore the Captain because it actually feels less laggy and overall much nicer to fly, lol. Btw, I use a 64 bit Intel i5 dual core, 8gigs ram with one of th worst graphics card s ever, the Intel Hrqphics 4000.

I'm having serious issues with me 72-1 and 72-freighter sound... I've un installed the package and re installed it a number of times, but nothing seems to work. I've also tried reloading the aircraft. I'm missing sounds for the APU, No-smoking and SB sign. As well as sounds from the Captain and Flight Attendant on the comm stack. someone please help me. I dont want to ask for a re-fund. But i'm not getting what I paid for...

@@Dan67518 Oh a Magenta Line follower :) hm You use VOR's death reconing, NDBs, DME stations and way earlier (What is even available as a Sim add on) Stelar navigation (with a bubble sextant) I sometimes do this in simulator..... This is as complicatet as it can get I guess navigation with a sextant is realy hard...Vor NAV is pretty easy if you got it right.... I would recomend every Flight simmer to fly old birds first to realy lern to REALY fly! Sperry autopilots are a good basic setup in my opinion ...
