The thoughts around 7:00 where you’re talking about the value of a file being added to the form generation is solid.

Hi Nick; enjoying your videos. This video seems to have the sound of a "mechanical clock" ticking (or chewing sound), off to one side of your desk (mic channel) and gets a bit more & more distracting after moving through the video. Just FYI. Again, nice videos and I enjoy your precise reviews and specifics on the various bullet points for the apps that you're discussing. Keep up the great work and inciteful topics.

Shame there's no Copilot option in Copilot in forms in lists!

Yes, the disparity between the two experiences is a little confusing. Hopefully it'll come and be more unified.

Been playing with both Lists and Forms this last two weeks to create a Helpdesk App in a corporate environment for internal "customers" and I am surprised to see I can't customise the graphics anymore to include corporate logos and colours like I used to be able to? On what you are saying - I agree the section 08:38 onwards - I'm personally debating which is the best approach - creating a central list file and then adding a form to that makes a better form and one that I can have specific columns included and then have a separate "form" for the Helpdesk admin with its own fields from that one List. I tried making a Power App originally but due to the limitation of our environment - I can't "see" or change the backend list. Frustrating - Microsoft Apps can be so near and yet so far from really REALLY useful at times.

Either option could capture data for a simple helpdesk application, however there are also lots of off the shelf options out there for this sort of application. Sometimes when the requirements exceed the basic tools it's a good indicator that it's time to step up to a more specialized product and the time cost of trying to manipulate unsuitable tools into doing what is needed ends up being greater than just buying a product where it's already built. This is an important considering when building anything either with Lists forms or with Microsoft Forms (and even Power Apps).
