Thanks for a great overview of Project for the Web . I am introducing this tool to our team, due to the integration with other Microsoft 365 tools we use (Team's, OneNote, SharePoint, Planner, Dynamics, PowerBi, and beginnings of PowerAutomate). Also, reading "between the lines" my understanding it appears Microsoft will move Project Online to Project for the Web. It would be great if Microsoft introduced WBS org chart style WBS capability into Project for the Web (refer Mastering The WBS by Liliana Butchtik) . I use SmartArt to quickly build project phases and deliverables with teams, as it is easier for teams to visualise in this format than a list when brainstorming.

Great stuff here. Can a local installed MS Project be connected (linked) to Project for the Web in GCC?

You can import your MPP file to Project for the web, but there is no live connection nor any plans for that. Project for the web uses the same scheduling engine as Project Desktop.

Answering my own question above - Might not be rolled out for our tenant yet. Roadmap for feature - www.microsoft.com/sv-se/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=93422

I don’t actually have the People tab/view in Projects for the Web. Is that a new feature that is being rolled out? I neither have the View Options selection next to Filter…

Joakim, thanks for your question. Yes, this is in process of being rolled out and isn’t in all geographies yet.
