One of the core issue that need to be address is the screen aspect ratio which most of the manufacturer either ignore or don't understand the exact size in order to give user enriching experience weather it movie or youtube and so on

Its disgusting that microsoft is now forcing more and more ads into their OS. Consumers already pay hundreds for their product, yet microsoft still isnt satisfied

Do check out the latest one with the elite processor when it comes out. the hardware and the prices are already awesome, only if the performance and Battery backup were good, it could be a very good alternative to iPad pro with m4 for the real pro users. and you don't even need something half as powerful as an M4 either. something as powerful as the M1 that can actually perform as a PC is more than enough.

Don't get any laptop with the Snapdragon processors... yet It's very impressive technology, but it's also new and not compatible with a lot of Windows apps, I do believe that in a few years it could even defeat Apple devices in some tasks while having Windows software compatibility, but that's at least 3-5 years in the future

My Surface Pro 9 has dimming issues when you are working and randomly the screen dims down for about 3 seconds and then comes back to normal. There are many complaints about the same issue in the Microsoft website. No solution given except for MS saying to turn off the adaptive brightness. adaptive brightness is turned off and the problem source is something else. This is the last time I buy a Surface Pro!! Not happy !

I do feel that the surface devices that make the most sense are the Surface Laptop and the Surface Go. I do not understand where the Surface Pro line stands, and it too big for tablet use and not comfortable enough for laptop use.

It's a super light laptop with the best tablet keyboard by far. Ppl don't use the tablet traditionally, they use like a 2-1, placing the tablet down and not touching it much. I, for ex, use it in the kitchen while cooking. It has excellent speakers, perfect for a noisy environment like a kitchen

as i know, surface pro is recognized as a laptop, not a tablet. So naturally (without any emulator) can't use android apps. CMIIW guys

What are you talking about, it's built on Chromium? All browsers except Safari and Firefox are built on Chromium and all look and work the same so your comment makes little sense

Downside is price, if it was £500 would be a steal but its not i wouldn't pay more unless I could replace the battery

Battery life sucks for me--you can watch the battery drain just doing casual use. When released, it was expensive, and upgrade prices were even higher than Apple's. Upgrading from 8GB to 16GB costs £300 (SP10). Window tablets are horrible compared to Android or iPadOS. No OLED option on Intel machines. Performance is subpar with heat and fan noise. The Intel Surface Pro device is a poor choice if you primarily need a tablet. It is viable if you mainly want a laptop and the occasional tablet use, but you are paying a hefty premium, with SP10 prices higher than Apple. The SP10 is £2400 for 32GB/512GB with a keyboard, and I can easily get the MB Pro 14 M3 Pro 36GB/512GB for less than this, which beats the SP10 in every feature metric. The Surface Pro is hard to recommend and explains why it has been falling in demand and why few other OEMs are now bothered making a detachable. With Android on the Windows subsystem now abandoned, there are even fewer reasons to buy this as a tablet.

@@xBINARYGODx They have a new one incoming, but this video was about buying an older Surface Pro to save money. I suggest you don't-instead, wait to see the Surface Pro Snapdragon reviews. However that is also very expensive; in the UK £2000 for the 16GB/512GB with pen/keyboard.

I just bought a brand one off a mate for £400 as just needed a laptop after my older Mac Book Air screen just decided to self terminate for no reason and for what I want it's a cracking bit of kit. 16gb, 256gb.

This is really impressive hardware, but Microsoft's continuous software degradation is what plagues this laptop. I just got a refurbished laptop that is fully capable of Windows 11, and yet I chose to go with Windows 10 because they are ignoring making that one worse. I can understand why people would like the AI advancements and special features compared to the older versions, but Microsoft continuing to bloat the operating system with things I don't care about is getting really frustrating. Great video as always!

windows 11 is fine ("waaa, I dont like that thing I can turn off, but I want to whine and fud it up, waaaa" is your post), people like you also whined about 10, mostly along the same exact lines, it this will repeat itself a few years or so down the road.
