Thank you Deepak! This was a very helpful video :-) I was just wondering if its possible to bulk upload external telephone numbers to Microsoft Teams. Just so that when an external telephone number calls we can see who it is because we already have there number saved. I have only been able to add telephone numbers manually for each client. This will be helpful for when clients call our direct line.

This video will help many small business owners move to the cloud with their phone system. I see Microsoft also has a Business Voice promo which includes phone system and calling plan. I have also read that they have bundled phone system and calling plan together in the USA. Do you have any advise on how to decide which option to purchase?

Thanks William for the feedback and yes you are right , Microsoft voice promo does have both phone system and calling plan licenses at discounted price (25%). I believe each user gets 3000 mins domectic calling , in my view this is the best plan to go with, havnt seen any other plans for SMBs.

Hi Thank you for this video. I'm from France and when I try to assign the phone number to a user I get a message that says that I need to use Set-CsOnlineEnhancedEmecycyServiceDisclaimer to accept the terms and conditions. I have no idea how to do that. Any guidance would be very much appreciated. Many thanks

I have 200 people in my organisation. Using teams. Is there a way to auto assign all of them numbers in 1 go. Or is it a manual process one by one?

Yes you can go to teams admin center and assign it from there . Can also be done via powershell script but using teams admin center would be easy

Hello, what if I chose a phone number from the country that I am currently living in and then I move for a few months in another continent. Can still use teams and that phone number to call numbers from the country I come from ? Let’s say you live in Germany and go to Morocco, can you still use the same account (Germany) to call German phone numbers when you are in Morocco ? Thanks

😊 I like this question and as per docs Licensed users can call out to numbers located in the country/region where their Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license is assigned to the user based on the user's location. In my view if you move to other country your licenses wouldn't be valid to call out . I am not sure 100% sure because i haven't tried this scenerio, i would check with someone at MS.

So I confirmed in microsoft communtiy and answer was it woild be allowed as long the country you are going to allows VOIP calling. So you would be able to make local and long distance based on your home country plans .

I have the licenses assigned and still get an error for external calling I have "MS Teams Domestic Calling Plan" and MS Teams Phone Standard" assigned

Hello, thank you for the video, I was able to go through all the steps but when I want to assign a user in the last step, it does not load any users saying "no results found" even though we have users in admin teams and I'm using at least 3 characters to look up a user. Any idea why is this happening? Thanks!

You will need to set up class of service in the teams admin center . Then you can apply it to the users based on their previligaes.
