Great point! I should have mentioned that as an option. I do the same thing. Having several browsers logged into several tenants is prob the best solution right now.

Great video and this is big problem in MS Teams specially collaborating with other org guest / external users ..i believe even many people don't know about it

Brilliant video, thank you so much. I called MS support today and even they didn't know all this. So many things wrong with Teams. Stuff that should all be in place before being rollied this out. Time after time we are told that you can do something and then its filled with limitation on the back end. We then have to tell the users and find a work workaround. Guest access sounds like a great idea to a user, then nothing is clearly said about limited number of license for guest access, how do you manage all the external users in AD, no notifcations when you are switch into the guest tenant. Again a work around is using a browser but then why have the option of using the desktop app if you can see when someone is trying to contact you? To me and I'm sure a lot of others, all simple funtions that you need if you are going to recommend and use this in your organisation. External access is ok as you are using your tenant, guest access is just a bit too far for now.

Great video! Can you enable both external and guest access on the Teams admin page? If so, when you add a new user who isn't in your tenant... will Teams let you choose adding the new user as External or Guest?

Great video. My problem is that when I choose to change tanners on the upper right corner, there is a red triangle next to the tenants name with an exclamation mark and when I click on that tenants, I run into an error. Do you happen to know what that red triangle is about? I cannot access that tenant at all.

Great explanation!, you comment that i have 5 guest access per license; i think i have the limit because i invited another 2 person extra and they cannot get into teams; I have 10 M365 business basic license, how can i keep adding guest to redeem the guests from another license thus i can reach 50 guests. I'm M365 console admin, I can do that (How?) or each person with license must to do that from his Teams as you show on video. I've spent a lot of days and i cannot get a clear solution for that, could you help me?

That's a good question. I haven't thought of that, but I'm guessing that is a feature. I will try and do some digging on that one.

I far as I can tell the concepts are the same, but MS has added some ways to easily change tenants and use personal accounts.

Great video and investigation into the Guest access issue in MS Teams. We discovered this strange issue recently when we tried to run an Teams live event with some presenters who were external and brought in as guests, mad stuff, will never try it again. Microsoft need to get this sorted quickly. You mentioned that every guest you bring in to your tenant automatically creates account in Azure and uses up one of your allocated licenses. How can I check how many licenses I have?

If I understand your problem, my first guess is you may not have added those external users as guests in the Team that the channel exists in. Hope this makes sense. I'm assuming you are having a meeting in a channel.

I am also interested knowing how you manage your external access user licenses. This is an Azure AD question more than a Teams question though.
