In To Do, Is there a way to manage the suggestions that you see in MY DAY? I have certain lists that I don't want to see suggested. I only want to draw from "Tasks." Is this possible?

Bad news is they "improved" the app few days ago and now Planner tasks aren't opened in Planner, but in Teams. But it doesn't open the task directly in desktop app, but via some redirection through web and then in the ToDo app in Teams, so every single opened task leaves opened tab in browser, really handy :( I started using ToDo few months back because it can show all 3 type of micromanagement tools - Planner, flagged mails and ToDo/mail tasks. Hope the ToDo plugin/app in Teams will soon offer Planner's column view and also flagged emails. Or they will give us option in ToDo where to open the Planner tasks. Anyway thank you for your cool insights. They are really valuable 👍

I love the tag feature. Although I wish it would list all of my tags underneath the List section, like it does with Apple reminders and Apple notes. I also wish that when creating a task (when using my iPhone), there would be a list dropdown that would present me with every hashtag, and allow me to select, which tag that I want to select.

The My Day idea is clever but terrifying as well. Esp for those who occasionally roll over their tasks to the next day. Any task you don’t complete simply vanishes and reappears as a suggestion, am I correct? So, what if you miss the task second time around, or it doesn’t appear at all, and in the process you forget to pay your quarterly tax or the cable bill. I do wish there was a way to disable it, this is a bit of a dealbreaker for me.

Thanks, yes, did learn a couple of new things (I have been using MS Outlook Task extensively for years and To Do for a little while). Two questions if I may: How to add existing tasks to a list? How to show a # as a a list ? Comment: Dark theme is not an option on the web based To Do app, at least not in my organisation. Comment: I like the ease of To Do but prefer MS Outlook Task for those jobs that have a big history, eg emails, links to documents, etc.

Now to get my executive to revise my Outlook Delegate access so I have access to their Task list and getting them to download the MS To Do app. Typing up daily To do lists and carrying over items not completed and adding new items on every day is so inefficient! I'm hoping this will help me manage this part of my role.

@eednarb Жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin, hoping you know the answer to the following... between Google Keep, Google Tasks, MS Lists and MS ToDo... in all the videos I have watched it is usually mentioned that something can be added to the calendar as a "reminder". I find these reminders to be useless. I only see them if I open the calendar. I need an app that once I assign the note a date & time, I'll get a pop-up on my phone either at the specified date/time or upon arrival or departure of a location. So far the only one I have been able to find is the Samsung app "Reminder" but it has a lot of text limitations. Do you know if Keep, Tasks or ToDo has the ability to do a pop-up reminder preferably with an audible alert?

Great channel & I follow most items very carefully learning a lot. However the Outlook - To Do coordination does not work. I do not get the same screens as you do. Is that due to different versions or is there something I am missing. I cannot get the “flag” option in To Do nor do I get the To Do & Tasks to sync. The emails I flag appear in Tasks but not in To Do.

Hey kevin, Thank you for your video. I am struggling with how to search the Tasks list. I have tons of prospects, members and leaders and a multitude of projects and I converse primarily via email, so How can I search 130 tasks and find what I am looking for. Additionally, It seems there is no way to know how many flagged emails I have for one person so I need to review (search tasks), type in a name, and look for duplicates. Apparenlty there is no way to control or know how many dups you have unless you look nor is there a way to prevent them? Any help is appreciated
