hi, i do not understand something heere, for GROSS_DOLLAR_SALES you are first selecting the source table as "CITY_CTR_SLS" and then after you are saying that GROSS_DOLLAR_SALES is coming from the following tables and checking the check box for "YR_CATEGORY_SALES", so which tables does it actually come from then and why do we have to choose two? its kinda confusing, i am sorry, i am new to this.

When you select a table, then select a column from, then you select manual, you can choose the same table or any other table(s) to have the column mapped to. Which tables to map to? That depends on your specific data model. In this demo, the purpose was to show what you can do. I could have started with the "YR_CATEGORY_SALES", then selected the desired column, then manual, then choose the table; either way it is the same so don't let it confuse you.

These videos can be hard and/or tedious to watch because there isn't a consistent story that we can follow. It would be better if there was a clear scenario; a clear start and end point that you were trying to get to, in which all the Mirostrategy videos could play a part in working towards. That way we could see the point of what you're doing. It oftens seems like you lose sight of what you're doing, and you correct yourself, but not in a clear way. A narrative that you could follow would probably help you as much as it would help the viewer.

You say something can't be done and then you try to demonstrate it, but you find out it actually works. Why do you leave that part in the tutorial? You try to explain something by coming up with a nonsensical example, which you do point out: 'this doesn't make sense but...' - so how do you expect learners to understand? Why not come up with valid examples?! It seems unprofessional to me.

Hi Sarah and thanks for the feedback. Indeed it is a difficult task to accomplish high quality with little to no prep. Most of these video's especially the older ones where built with no prep, just recorded as I spoke. In later video's I tried to do some prep beforehand when time permits (rare luxury). Thanks for the input and will def take it into considerations.
