Full Recipes:
1. Butter chicken and prata
Ingredients:
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp onion, diced
1/2 tsp ginger finely minced
1/2 tbsp garlic finely minced
Chicken thigh
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 tbsp garam masala
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp water
Frozen prata
Steps:
1. Add butter, onions, ginger, garlic in a microwavable mug, stir and microwave for 1 minute.
2. Add chicken, tomato paste, cream and spices, stir and microwave for about 1 minute.
3. Add water, stir and microwave for another 1 minute or until cooked.
4. Add frozen prata without thawing, microwave for about 1 minute, flip and microwave for another 15 seconds, or until cooked.
2. Korean Egg Bread
Ingredients:
Batter:
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
1/8 cup melted salted butter
1/8 cup sugar
1/8 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 drop vanilla essence
some melted butter for coating the pan
Fillings:
1 egg
Ham or bacon
Chinese parsley
A pinch of salt
A pinch of black pepper
Steps:
1. Prepare 2 squares of paper towel, lay the bacon strips side by side on them, place another 2 squares of paper towel on top, place them on a plate and microwave for about 1 minute 15 seconds. Set aside to let it cool when done.
2. Add 1 egg and sugar in a microwavable mug. Beat until sugar is dissolved.
3. Add in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, vanilla essence, melted salted butter, milk and mix until well combined. Make sure there are no lumps. Microwave for about 1 minute - split into 2 sets of 30 seconds.
4. Break the bacon into small pieces while the food is microwaving.
5. Create a hole in the center of the batter and add another egg in, pour in the egg white first before the egg yolk. Microwave for about 1 minute - split into 2 sets of 30 seconds. Keep an eye on the food when it’s being microwaved!
6. Cover the batter and egg with the bacon pieces!
