Great video, I once replaced a door switch on my microwave. These over range units are so expensive it's good to know you can open them up to replace things if you have the determination.

Got the same microwave and it was the magnetron also. Replaced it and all is good. Now that's down I am going to vent it outside since I have been avoiding it.

The hassle and weight involved with repairs or replacing OTR MWs is the reason we went with countertop models.

I have this same model out & taken apart. The magnatron seemed to be the cause of fire & buzzing, but continuity testing did not show the same ground fault. How should i proceed? Still likely magnatron right?

Start by questioning the burned silver, mica waveguide paper....
