What is the reason why microwave fuse keep blowing as soon as you plug

The problem can come from different reasons... Components' failure causes a short circuit . Warming things with wrong materials exp metallic materials . A power SURGE( is a sudden increase in voltage in an electrical system. A power surge in a house may fry your delicate electronic devices and damage appliances when too much power surges into their circuits. Most homes are wired for 120 ,240volt service.)

Blowing of the fuse is a sign of a fault somewhere, so a full check should be done, not rushing to connect, "that's electrical, it's death." I submit.

What Volta should the transformer send to the heater? Mine doesn’t have a fuse on the transformer. Cap is good. Door switches are good. But only get 6 Volts to heater

@@juniorelectronics8255 I also installed new transformer and this time the 20amp fuse popped. Which could’ve been the reason the 1st transformer went bad. I checked the fuse the first time and it was good.

So now how to be sure that capacitor has been discharged is there not be any testing to check if it's discharged

the best way is to always taste with a voltmeter !! to make sure the capacitor has been completelly discharged

@@juniorelectronics8255 But then one would require a high voltage meter. That capacitor carries 6000Volts. A normal meter that you are using will blow up.

@the_crazy_reaper grill settings dont use Magnetron. grill use different heater elements to grill your food..Magnetron is that one is used to warm things up ur food ,.so i suggest to check ya fuse ....

If the turntable has a not working and not heat the problem will be the fuse?

@erickrivas48 if the turn table not turning properly the motor is not getting the power, those motor don't get easily damaged. The fuse is for turning higher power. I recommend to keep looking..

@TemesgenTelaynehMekonnen if u use jumper wire ,it will work.the fuse is made to blow up when things go wrong and thus cutting from going to high voltage transformer ,so if u use jump wire and something go wrong ,u gonna cause short circuit or fire 🔥 I highly recommend to use the right fuse for your safe

if the transformer produces smoke, the isolated material of the wires of the transfer has been burned out

@EmmanuelKwakuAmponsah-v9z well put the power on ,and from inside the microwave, using voltmeter measure the cables that bring in power to the motherboard ,so u follow the powerlines ,This should be do e with an experienced electrician , Keep informed that if u plug 🔌 to the outlet, then remove the plug 🔌, capacitor inside the microwave, still store a lot of energy. If not well respected, you can get seriously electrocuted

good questions, the best way to diagnose the problems is to follow the power directions step by step, if the fuse is good then I will check the power that comes out of the capacitor through the fuse to the transformer, this way you can see if the transformer is burned or not

Actually the main feed from the plug is coming from the capacitor to the transformer or from the transformer to capacitor?

I don't think you solved the real problem cause the fuse will blow again. You have to identify why the fuse blew and correct that first.
