Very cool!! Love the drum sander!! I'm guessing that its much nicer than a thicknesser and you would end up with no tear out.

Drum sander is great for cleaning things up but they are slow compared to a thicknesses. They don’t like resinous woods like pine too :(

@@JoesWorkbench oh yes!!!! I do remember that! The drum sander at my wood club has a lock on it because everyone would be shoving all sorts of pine in it. At one stage they would be changing belts on it twice a week. haha $_$

Mate what an awesome build start to finish. Speaking of finish, I loved the DIY Danish Oil mix. That must work out quite a bit cheaper yeah?

Thanks 🙏🏼 Yes the mix is less half the price this way 😳 and you can mix it anyway you like. I’ve done it with 2 different stains to match existing pieces of furniture.
