Mid Century Modern trash to treasure | Ugly Duckling Challenge

In this video I am transforming a mid century modern trash to treasure Cabinet into two pieces!!! Complete Ugly Duckling Challenge and so excited to be part of this Collaboration. I found the ugliest outdated piece I could find and turned it into two amazing colourful pieces. Complete trash to treasure. I also tried to keep the mid century modern look with both pieces.

I didn't know that Bin comes in gray. Been nervous to try Bin because of the clean up. But there are so many times it's necessary. They turned out suuuper cool! So bright and cheerful. Very Jetsons (both!)

I was given something similar to your piece except it was missing the glass on top, the bottom was just three long deep drawers and the legs were chunky and lower to the ground. It was a heavy hard wood piece and very sturdy and well made. This was in 1972 and I remember it fondly, being my first piece of furniture ever in my first apartment and forever grateful and happy to have received it for my first adventure into adult hood. P.S. wonderful job by the way🌹

They look ok I guess. Not the route I would have gone with. What did you do with the glass. I personally thought that was the nicest part of the original piece. Most antiques are missing the glass & you had all of it.

Great transformation! The blue cabinet came out great. Very much like “The Jetsons”. Not a fan of the Raspberry Sorbet color, but still so great that you were able to make over two pieces.
