It’s such a gorgeous writing desk; how nice to be rid of the computer and keyboard! After almost a decade of wanting this desk, you must be over the moon with joy to see it in your home. You have it set up very nicely with thought and care; all the drawers are filling a practical function. I think it would be great if more writers shared their writing space. Please share updates as you change around your desk and corner. I wish you many years of happy writing on this beautiful piece of furniture!

Beautiful desk! My grandfather had a similar one but when he passed away in 2003 mid-century furniture wasn't a thing and we gave it away I guess. Together with some *awesome* string shelves. More like a wall unit with little cabinets etc. I still regret it. But... back to your desk. Amazing desk! I also love the Lamy Studio fountain pen. I really don't like all these chunky colourful ones people tend to collect. I am not into these patterns. They look like 90s hammer trousers for me. 😁 I love a simple, minimal design and the Studio looks stunning for my taste. The matte finish and the metal details. Love it. And it has a very good nib for my handwriting. I actually have two of them. The dark blue one and the olive one.

That's sad about your desk but I also lost a lot of things my grandparents owned that wasn't interested in at the time but would love now. Good choice for the Lamy Studio, I cant believe how much I like it, especially in the matte olive green version.

That's great news, glad you bought a few, go to Reddit and there's a subreddit called r/penpals. Give it a google ✒️✒️
